In the impoverished favelas of Rio de Janeiro during the 1970s, two youths embark on divergent journeys. One, identified as Rocket, discovers a passion for photography, capturing the escalating drug-fueled conflicts plaguing his community. Meanwhile, another youth known as José “Zé” Pequeno, ambitiously ventures into the perilous underworld of narcotics, embracing a life fraught with crime and danger.
