Kinofiguration is an open-ended and multilayered research on the configuration of the cinema in Kosovo. Relying on archival and theoretical studies, as well as personal testimonies, Kinofiguration tries to situate the development of cinema in its political context. It tries to understand the social and historical significance of the moving images in relation with the political existence of the country. The research will have several outputs in form of publications, film programs, exhibitions and public discussions.
